Ms. Groome understands that we all operate in many worlds, both internal and external, and can easily become confused and distressed. She works individually as well as with all combinations of relationships including couples, adult siblings and family businesses. She joins with people in their transitions through life, helping them see opportunities to explore and change aspects of their lives.

Ms. Groome works from a commitment to an integrated model of therapy, taking on board the many aspects of the human condition and change.
She has focused on many models of therapy, including Jungian work, and is influenced by Sue Johnson’s Emotion Focused Therapy. She has a special interest in issues surrounding the topic of masculinity and femininity.

Groome has many years of experience with direct counseling, supervision, teaching and writing. She trained at the Penn Council for Relationships, Division of Family Study, Department of Psychiatry, University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
