Main Line Counseling Partners is proud to continue our work as a teaching institution.  With this in mind, we are delighted to introduce our 2024-2025 practicum student, Mr. Andrew Lipsitz.  He joins us after having robust clinical experiences across a variety of presenting needs.

Andrew has shown a particular interest in learning and intervening with the use of mindfulness in treatment, both personally and professionally, He established an informal mindfulness class for the graduate students in his cohort as a means of establishing healthy self-care practices and to enhance his colleagues’ knowledge and effective use of mindfulness as a therapeutic and personal intervention.

His areas of clinical interest include, couples, families, anxiety, depression, and the integration of mindfulness as a means of self-care and awareness.

Experience & Training

Andrew earned his Master’s of Science in Clinical Psychology from Chestnut Hill College, after which time he continued into Chestnut Hill’s Doctor of Psychology Program.  He is a current fourth-year student in the program, and is working at Main Line Counseling Partners under the supervision of Dr. Meghan Prato.

Andrew comes to our practice with 2+ years of outpatient clinical and assessment experience in the field, as well as experience in psychological research.   He offers a wealth of knowledge in the following areas:
