Suzanne Riley, M.S., LPC, believes in treating her clients with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. She has a naturally warm, empathetic, and interactive style, and provides all her clients with unconditional positive regard and acceptance. Suzanne individualizes therapy to meet each client’s needs according to the changes they want to make. Her approach is to build strong and therapeutic relationships that will help her clients lead well-balanced and happier lives.
Suzanne uses evidence-based treatments, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). She words with adults and adolescents experiencing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, relationship issues, parenting issues, sexually problematic behaviors, addictions, and trauma. Additionally, Suzanne has experience helping parents improve parenting skills and communication with their children.
Suzanne earned her Master’s degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) in Counseling and Clinical Health Psychology with a clinical focus in Addictions and Offenders Counseling. Suzanne is a Philadelphia native who has worked in the community for six years as an outpatient psychotherapist with children and adults, and a residential psychotherapist with adolescents. Suzanne treats the whole person while empowering individuals to meet their individual goals.
