Nicole Kretzinger, M.S., LPC, is known for creating a therapeutic space where clients feel profoundly seen, emotionally safe, and genuinely understood. With warmth, authenticity, and a thoughtful balance of insight and evidence-based care, she helps clients navigate life’s challenges while building deeper confidence, resilience, and connection within themselves and their relationships.

Nicole works with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, and major life transitions. She is passionate about helping clients navigate emotional regulation, identity, self-esteem, self-worth, relationships, and the pressures of everyday life with greater self-awareness and compassion. Nicole understands that healing is not linear and believes therapy should be an individualized experience that honors each client’s unique story, strengths, and pace of growth.

Nicole believes therapy is one of the most deeply human experiences we can have and that feeling genuinely seen, understood, and emotionally safe can be transformative in itself. Her therapeutic style is collaborative, relational, and deeply client-centered. Nicole integrates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness practices, and trauma-informed care. She values blending practical coping strategies, insightful psychoeducation and meaningful emotional exploration to help clients better understand themselves while building greater emotional balance, resilience and self-awareness.

Above all, Nicole strives to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel safe enough to be fully themselves. She considers it a profound privilege to walk alongside her clients through life’s most vulnerable moments and believes healing happens through connection, compassion, and the experience of being genuinely seen and understood.
