Bridging the Couple Chasm

Help couples manage conflict and deepen intimacy!
Many helping professionals feel under-prepared in their efforts to support couples in building more loving connections. It can be difficult to know what to do when an argument takes off right in front of you, sometimes before everyone has made it from the waiting room to the office. Other times couples are distant and silently hopeless. Level 1 Training will give you new insights into treatment for couples who struggle, using research-based assessments and effective interventions. You will walk away with tools in your tool chest that you can start using immediately.

How Hybrid Training Works

One of the downsides of traditional 2-Day workshops is that students can only absorb a certain amount of material at once. They reached out to the Gottman Institute wanting their own copies of the sample videos and lectures for review purposes after returning back to their offices and starting to implement what they learned. Similarly, with the onset of telehealth, couples needed PDF versions of the interventions instead of the photocopies we used to hand them in our offices.
One of the downsides of online training is the isolation. Clinicians miss out on the benefit of lively conversations during Q&A session. They don’t have the opportunity to ask the trainer questions about how to apply these skills to their couples, or the inspiration that comes from talking to like-minded clinicians who share a passion for systems work.
This training will provide you with the combined benefits of self-guided online learning and live, in-person professional development.
Here is How it Will Work
